Supercuts? More like…stupid cuts, or something.

I can't imagine how much he spent.

I can't imagine how much he must have spent.

I don’t really care what my hair looks like, unless it is visibly gross. And it’s not like I’m trying to impress anyone (or if I were, its not like it’s working). So I just get my hair cut based on two things, comfort and money, and whether I have those two things or not. I got my hair cut today because it started to itch my ears. That’s how I know its time.

So after lunch at a BBQ spot because I was hungry, and before the army surplus store because I’m an idiot, I went to SUPERCUTS. Their logo is even italicized like that, I know, I’m awesome.

They were pretty nice and I even got a pretty good haircut from a funny lady.  At one point one of her co-workers showed her something and and she said, in a very funny way, “ohhh I fowgau abou daaat” like she couldn’t care less about the lady. I think she was Chinese. No, Thai. Was she Thai? She was Thai, and very nice. There was little conversation, which I like, and the cut was clean. Walking to the counter to pay I was all around pretty happy until I received the bill.

$16.95 US for a standard haircut?! It took her 6 minutes to cut my hair. At that rate, that’s 10 cuts an hour, 40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year (taking out vacation). At that rate, this lady is bringing SUPERCUTS $339,000 per year. BEFORE TIP!!!!! Where am I? Is this real, what is happening? Apparently I’m in the wrong profession, I should be owning Supercutses! The fact that these places are all over the place now makes sense to me. They are the most profitable businesses you can own besides like, baby stealing extorsion racquet things that people do in South America. And wayyyy easier. Did you know it’s free to get your hair cut? You just say, “Hey hands, here’s some scissors. Cut my hair now.” And the best part is, they have to, they’re YOUR hands! Anyway, don’t go to FAGGYCUTS. They charge too much.

I came to SUPERCUTS for the mediocre experience and the price that accompanies it. What did I get? Raped. Economically speaking, I got raped.

  1. you have no idea what your talking about! They are a tough business to own and its not all glitz and glamor. These places should exist. They prevent you from paying $30+ for a haircut. I guarantee you cant always give yourself a cut. So calm down and enjoy the experience. Why didnt you just go home and make yourself BBQ meal instead of visiting a restaurant if that was the case.
